Day 1 : Marrakech – Atlas mountains – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Dades valley.
Today one of our drivers will pick up you around 07:30 AM, and set off towards the Atlas Mountains. Admire the breathtaking views as you traverse the Tizi n’Tichka pass, reaching an altitude of 2,260 meters. Along the way, you’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village that has served as a backdrop for numerous films. Afterward, continue through the stunning Valley of Roses until you reach Dades Gorges, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional hotel.
Day 2: Boumalne Dades valley–Tinghir – Todgha gorge – Merzouga.
After a hearty breakfast, venture into the captivating Dades Valley and witness the awe-inspiring rock formations carved by the Dades River. Continue your journey through the Todra Gorges, where sheer cliffs tower above, creating a dramatic setting. Enjoy a stroll along the riverbank before continuing to Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops. As the day progresses, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, where you’ll experience a breathtaking sunset over the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi. Spend the night in a comfortable desert camp, enjoying traditional music and a delicious dinner under the starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga – Midelt – Ifran – Fes.
Awaken to witness the mesmerizing spectacle of the sun rising above the towering 300-meter dunes, casting a golden glow over the desert. Embrace the dawn as you venture towards the border with Algeria. Eventually, you’ll return to a hotel by camel, where a refreshing breakfast and invigorating shower await you. With renewed energy, you’ll bid farewell to the desert and embark on your journey to Fes.
As you traverse through the picturesque Ziz Valley, you’ll encounter a village adorned with bountiful apple orchards, where you’ll pause for a delightful lunch. Continuing onwards, you’ll be captivated by the scenic beauty of the mountain cedar forests that adorn your route. In the afternoon, you’ll reach Fes, pausing at a panoramic viewpoint along the way to capture memorable photographs.
Anticipate arriving in Fes at approximately 17:00, marking the culmination of your shared 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes. We will drop you off at your hotel or the nearest accessible point on your journey. Reflect upon the extraordinary experiences and memories created during your desert odyssey.
Marrakech to Merzouga is 564 km, the first night you will sleep in Dades valley and reach Merzouga on the second day. Day 3 you will spend driving back to Marrakech.
A shared triple or quadruple room is included in the tour price. For a private room, please choose an upgrade (costs just 10 Euros per person).

The Luxury White Camp offers extra comforts like a 4×4 car for dune rides, private dining, en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, towels, toiletries, electricity, wifi, and a hearty 4-course dinner with a big breakfast. On the other hand, the Standard camp is simpler, with communal showers and toilets outside your tent. You’ll need to bring your towels and toiletries, and there’s a shared meal for everyone at dinner and breakfast.
These differences cater to varying preferences and budgets, allowing travelers to choose an accommodation option that aligns with their desired level of comfort and luxury while experiencing the unique beauty of Merzouga.
For the camel ride, we recommend wearing jeans or long trousers. Please prepare a small backpack with and your personal belongings. Do not forget sunglasses, a scarf, a hat, and your bottle of water. the other luggage would be dropped by your driver in your tent during your camel ride.
In winter it gets quite cold at night in the desert (temperatures can drop to around 0). You will be provided with warm blankets, but we would advise bringing warm clothes for sleeping.

The camel trek lasts for about 1 hour, depending on the season, daylight, etc.
There will be a few sand boards available at the luxury camp operator’s lodge to use at leisure. You can ask for one to take to the camp with you. They are free.
